2. 2013 Membership
By becoming a member or donating monthly, you are the engaging in the most effective way to support JGI Australia’s work. 4. Zoe Weil’s Solutionaries Tour- March 20-23
We are excited to bring Zoe Weil, Founder of the Institute for Humane Education, to Melbourne in March 2013. Zoe is a powerful presenter with strong messages on the vital role of Humane Education in creating a better world for all living things. - June 18- Young Minds Conference, Sydney
- late June – Art Exhibition, Melbourne – first public showing of an outstanding, privately owned collection of Aboriginal Art.
6. Letter from Solutionary, Tory West
Tory West’s Roots & Shoots journey began in 2006 when she first met Dr Jane in Australia. Inspired by Dr Jane, Tory started a R&S group at her school in Adelaide. She has since become a volunteer with JGI-Tanzania and recently met with children living with HIV/Aids. To read Tory’s letter to our JGI friends, click here.
7. Jane Goodall’s R&S Students in a Sticky Situation
In 2012, Christian College Geelong (CCG) participated in Melbourne Zoo’s Lord Howe Island Stick Insect breeding program. The Lord Howe Island Stick Insect is close to Dr Jane’s heart and is featured in her book Hope for Animals and Their World. To read more, click here.
