1. Peter FitzSimons Coming to Geelong for JGI

2. Global Humane Education Leader Touring Australia in March
JGI will be hosting the international leader of Humane Education, Zoe Weil. Zoe will be attending events for parents, educators, business leaders and students across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Discover how Humane Education can change the world. For further information, click here.

3. JGI membership
By becoming a member or donating monthly, you are the engaging in the most effective way to support JGI Australia’s work. You’ll be helping animals, people and the environment by providing consistent, reliable funds which enable us to focus less of our efforts on fundraising, and direct more time into our vital work of creating solutionaries for a humane, peaceful and sustainable world.

4. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots welcomes 2 schools in Bali!
It is with great excitement that we welcome Green School and Dyatmika School, Bali, to Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots network! As we
extend our connections across the Indian Ocean, we are fostering greater links and exchange between R&S groups in Australia and Bali. Both schools are doing wonderful things for our planet. 5. Wildlife in My Backyard Project
Australian researchers, led by Tanja Straka, are leading a global connect project that connects Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots groups across national borders. The researchers are seeking 2 Australian schools to participate in April. For more information about this exciting new project, click here.

6. JGI UGANDA TOUR PLANNED FOR 2013
Raw Africa, in conjunction with JGI Australia, is planning an exciting tour of JGI’s program in Uganda. The trip is planned for late August/ September 2013.  Further details will be released in future newsletters.
 
7. Solutionary Blogger

8. Release of Chimpanzee Movie
Last month, Disneynature released a new movie- Chimpanzee — a remarkable story of individual triumph and family bonds.  Journey deep into the African rainforest and meet adorable Oscar.
